Apphia Family Childcare is a Maryland licensed childcare located in Germantown in our spacious single-family home with a maximum capacity of 8 children.

Our main provider, Lawayesh Azale, is a loving mother of four children. She prides herself on the qualities of being nurturing, loving, patient, and knowledgeable when it comes to caring for children. She also has 19 years of teaching experience with children of all ages and educational background of a Master’s Degree in Early Childhood Education and a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Special Needs Education.

At Apphia Family Childcare, we believe children are born with tremendous potential and capacity for learning across all developmental domains: physical, cognitive, emotional, language, and social development. We strive to work with each of our children to enhance their individual interests to help them achieve their maximum learning potential.
